Credit Top Team Teambuilding - 7-8Mar08 Montevista Clark

Our Credit Top Team had a teambuilding this weekend at Montevista Clark, Pampanga.

It was physically exhausting, but fun as well. The only pictures that I had of the event was the wire traverse. Two wires were strung 20 feet above the ground and we had to cross it. Each wire is around 50 feet long.

We arrived at Clark at 830AM and had a breakfast at Montevista. We had our first activity which reminded me so much of a childhood game that we used to play called Dr. Quack-Quack. It is where we literally tie ourselves into knots and we had to untie ourselves into a circle.

The next activity was also as exhausting as it involved a lot of walking. We were divided into two teams and with a help of a compass, we were made to hide 6 stress balls, plot the coordinates in a map and give them to the other team to find and vice versa. With a big area which we can utilise, it took us more than 30 minutes before our facilitator asked us to stop. The other team found 5 balls while we only found 3.

After that, we had the wire traverse. As mentioned previously, we had to cross a wire strung across two poles. We had to wear protective gear and had to have ourselves hitched to a safety harness. It was really fun. I wouldn't have second thoughts trying it again. My arms and body hurt afterwards though. Maybe when I'm more fit.

It was a great experience. I never felt scared that I will fall. I was also able to look down and not get dizzy when I saw how high I was.

That's what I call a look of trepidation.
