After 3 pregnancy tests later and all test having 2 pink lines, I guess it's safe to assume that we're pregnant! :)
I'm officially 6 weeks along although this might change depending on what the doctor will see on the ultrasound scheduled on June 5. I'm due on Jan 13 or 20. Again, official due date will be given after the ultrasound.
I'm beginning to feel the symptoms. I threw up last Saturday and I threw up again this evening. I really could do away with the nausea and throwing up.
As per my OB, I'm just on calcium and folic acid. I'll be given multivitamins after my 12th week.
Anyway, excuse me while I throw up again. Blegh.

wow wow wow...ang galing ni Lord. Truly the Lord is always in favor of His children. If you really desire to have kids...He will surely hear your prayers....on His right time, He will give it to you. Congratulations to both of you.
I remember that time when i tested....I did 3-5tests on different time of the day 'coz i can't belive it myself. besides that, the 2nd line is always faint so I'm not so sure yet. I read that the faint line means that i'm on my early pregnancy and my HCG is still peaking up. However when I went to the doc a week after to confirm....i was so happy and blessed when i heard Madison's heartbeat already. At first you'll have this ambivalent feeling but when you hear the hearbeat...you'll easily fall in love.
I suggest that you take your vitamins (folic acid/prenatal vit) in the evening. Believe it or not and I have tested all prenatal vitamins in here on different time of the day....these vitamins makes you feel nauseous and dizzy. Try taking it in the evening when you're about to sleep. And if you have the chance to demand for prenatal vitamins, choose the one with DHA which is good for the baby's eyes and brain. Remember, Folic acid will prevent your baby from developing Spina Bifida. !st trimester is a very crucial stage of pregnancy. So you have to be very carefeull all the time. Do not entertain STRESS (no. 1 factor in having spotting) but do not be scared when you have one...calm down, relax and rest. you dont have to drink anything. Rest is the keyword. Bleeding is abnormal so that's the time you go to the ER, ok. And also eat right. It's a myth that you have to eat double because you're feeding another human being inside you. No, you just need to increase 500cals/day for your baby. Don't take advantage of your pregnancy. You'll regret it when you give birth...kase hirap kang pumayat. Remember the normal weight gain is only 25-35lbs. Enjoy you're pregnancy. It's a beautiful feeling of every women and the most beautiful part of it is your having the baby with your husband. Leo, support sunshine...treat her like a princess 'coz she's already carrying a beautiful life in her which you can already call your own :) Sunshine's moodiness is normal in pregnancy, so bear with her. Ilabas mo na lang sa kabilang tenga kapag inaaway ka :) Goodluck. :) I'm very happy for you. Sana kambal din!!!

Thanks, Ivy. Hindi European tour yon. Punta dapat kami ng US sa September. Pero hindi na nga siya tuloy kasi I refuse to travel while pregnant. I can't run and my husband will surely carry all our stuff. Kawawa naman siya.
Siguro I'll try drinking the folic acid and calcium sa morning. Yung morning sickness ko kasi sa gabi nangyayari. Like last night, haynaku. Sobrang struggle yon. I threw up four times! I couldn't keep anything down--even water. Buti nalang I'm better this morning. HIndi nalang ako pumasok. Baka ma-stress pa ako and would make it worse.
As for weight gain, my OB only wants me to gain 10 lbs kasi overweight na ako ngayon.
My in-laws know already. Happy rin sila. They want a girl but I have a feeling that it's a boy. Hehe.

if you feel like trowing up...be sure to have dry crackers on hand. avoid eaitng spicy food. yah....as much as possible watch what you eat...it's for your baby's health and yours.

i believe it's a boy but leo's parents wants a girl. so it's not really much of an issue right now. :) i would want to know of course for name choosing purposes and color scheme coordination.
