Yep, it's definitely a boy. My congenital ultrasound this afternoon confirmed this. The baby's very healthy and very "malikot". The sonologist had a difficult time trying to catch him as he keeps on moving around. (At least now I can refer to my baby as a "he" instead of an "it"!)
Now comes the difficult task of choosing a name. Before anything else, we want everyone to know the following:
1. The baby will NOT be named Leonardo IV (it's going to be quite confusing when you have 3 Leonardos living in one house)
2. The baby's name will start with "S"
3. The baby will only have one first name
So here are our choices:
Sebastian (origin: Greek) - revered; commanding great respect; impressive
Sandrino (origin: Italian) - defender of men
Santino (origin: Italian) - little saint
Salvador (origin: Spanish - savior
I'm already partial to Sebastian but we're checking out other options.

Seonardo ? (hehehe!)
congrats to you and leo! may bantay na ang anak ni claudine, hehehe ;-)
Congrats to both of you!!!
Santino is a nice name... ala Godfather :-)
hi sunshine!! congratulations!!
congratulations on the baby boy! for sure everyone in the family is excited!!!! post naman the ultrasound pics :)
mahaba ang story kung pano naging 3 ang first name ng son ko and sebastian is part of it :) initially i wanted joacquin/joaquin to be part of his name kasi favorite ko rin yun and some years ago, i promised myself that i would name my son that. medyo sentimental din kasi ang pangalan na yun sa 'kin.
anyway, sebastian was a choice that i couldn't drop when we were choosing a name for my son . it sounded so manly and romantic to me. aside from the fact that i adore the meaning of the name, i was a fan of basti artadi of wolfgang because of his good looks. sabi ko, ang cute siguro if i can call my son basti. true enough, di na natanggal yun sa name nya.
all your choices are wonderful! kung sebastian ang ipapangalan nyo, me kapangalan na si basti :) maybe you can also call him duduy pag gusto nyo syang asarin :) LOL!
wow! congrats, sunshine!
How exciting Sunshine! I like Sebastian as long as it is pronounced Se-bas-tian. It's a posh name here and it is making a comeback with yummy mummies. I bet Leo is getting very excited now. Don't blame him though. So how many weeks until you're due?
silvio! HAHA
they are in rp so the pronounciation will be more like sebuschan.
Congratulations to your fairly-tale like life Sunshine. This is the icing on the cake - a boy. I bet Leo is ecstatic about having a son for a first born. As for names - barring that you already stated you want the name to begin with the letter S -I would still like to put the name "OLIVER" on the table.
Sebastian.
-Jeff
Actually it reminds me of Sebastian Flyte--a character in Evelyn Waugh's Brideshead Revisited. Terribly posh.
i also love the name "sebastian" and i'm also a fan of basti artadi. i remember watching jesus christ the musical where he played jesus christ and i was screaming my lungs out after the show (I LOVE YOU BASTIIIIII!!!!).
bakit naman duduy? :)
ngeh, hindi naman fairy-tale like. leo and i do have our share of problems. di niyo lang alam :)
thank you for your suggestion but we're adamant that the name begins with S. :)
thank you all for your comments, suggestion and greetings. We're really happy over the baby (lalo na si Leo. may kalaro na raw siya sa basketball. Sabi ko, a girl can play basketball din naman!).
anyway, the name can have different pronunciations depending on where you are. some people will definitely pronounce it as se-bas-TIAN. some se-BAS-tian. his nickname will be BASTI.
i'm already on my 22nd week. our 3d/4d ultrasound is scheduled on my 28th week which will be some time november. can't wait for that.
wow... a boy! that's great. please don't choose sebastian. the name reminds me of ariel's lobster with a funny accent. hehehe
i like sandrino, though. unique and very latino.
congratulations! god is good!
Kumusta na si BASTI!!! Kelan ba siya lalabas? :-)
