How Rude!

Like any other day, I rode the shuttle going home.

Most of the shuttles are the van-type that can seat 16 at the back and another 2 in the front. Since I was early, I managed to secure a seat at the second row--and it's not on the folding seat which makes it more comfortable.

Amazingly though, for a supposedly first day of school, traffic was light this morning and even going home. I was already at the South exit in 30 minutes.

The shuttle that I take passes by Festival Mall before dropping me off at Alabang Town Center. When the shuttle turned left going to the Festival Mall area near Shopwise, somebody from the back yelled, "Para po!" Since it was unexpected, the driver was not able to stop immediately. Since it was also out of the way, the driver asked if she can get down near Seattle's Best instead. We were all surprised when she yelled, "Bababa na nga, mas marunong ka pa sa akin." It was so surprising as the driver was polite in asking her and she replied that way. So the two old ladies beside me got down so the girl at the back can get down. What made it worse was that this...this...girl slammed the seat up hitting me on the arm. Naturally, I yelled out in pain and she did not even say sorry or acknowledged that she managed to physically hurt someone in her rudeness.

I was so pissed and I wanted to confront her but the other ladies immediately got back on the van. I wanted to threaten her that if I suddenly miscarry, it will be all her fault and on her conscience.

I don't know what her problem was or if she was brought up that way. I'm thinking maybe she's having a bad day or she really just wanted to pick on someone. Whatever the case, she's a poor excuse of a human being.

Up to now, I'm still mad at the girl. Hopefully, this post will get rid of the negative energy so my baby and I can rest well tonight. It does not bode well to harbor negative energy.

Was she a regular passenger? or was she just riding because she was late and had to ride in the same shuttle?

Baka PMT or she really needs to go to the toilet? This is the best way to rid of badddd chi. Keep on blogging!

i agree - rude people are a waste of air and space. meanwhile venting your anger by blogging is a good idea. you cannot afford to harbour negative chi in your present state.

I remember one time while your mother was carrying both you and Claudine. She was riding a bus then going home and unintentionally somebody sat on her stomach. She was also so pissed off.

Nevertheless there are people like that and we just have to accept them as nuisance to society.

Nevertheless just be extra careful next time Always expect the unexpected.

I remember that! I never felt more sorry for jenny. She was very upset and crying because some bloody idiot sat on her babies. I mean you have got to be blind or just an idiot to miss her. She was about 7 months carrying twins! It must have been that experience of hers that made me resolve not to take public transport when i was pregnant - and i never did.

Yep. But it was an accident. She was seated by the window side and I as at the middle seat and she is getting off the bus, but the bus suddenly moved and she fell sitting on my tummy. I was so scared you two would decide to get out and say...you've had enough! hahahahah!

i bet that person....sobrang sorry nya syo. hehehehe! hindi ba nyo sinigawan ang driver ng bus?

katakot naman yan. siguro kapag malaki na yung tummy ko, di na ako magco-commute, or I'll pay double sa fare para comfortable yung upo ko. pinupuno kasi nila yung apatan pero it can only comfortably seat 3.

Rene David said...

Yeah! you should. Don't take any chances.

Norrie Blackeby said...

How do the other people know you've paid double then? Meron bang reserve sign sa tabi mo?

Sunshine Sangalang said...

i'll tell the driver/conductor/barker. tapos hindi na sila magpapaupo sa tabi ko.

How much per seat? Baka mas mura pa kung bayaran mo lahat ang seats instead of taking a cab from Ayala to your place.

Sunshine Sangalang said...

60php/seat. taking a cab? 400-500php.
